A home on the Craigslist listing for $250,000 was sold for $200,000 on Monday.
The listing, which has been removed, lists the buyer as a woman in her 20s.
The buyer, who requested to remain anonymous, says she has been working on a book about the cryptocurrency, which was introduced in 2016.
The house, which is in the suburb of East Palo Alto, is currently for sale.
The seller states that the house was built in 2013, but she doesn’t have any photos.
The property is listed for $1.2 million.
It is unclear if the home is being marketed to a buyer.
The sale is the latest in a string of cryptocurrency-related deals.
In February, a woman paid $5,000 to buy a house in Brooklyn for $2.5 million.
In November, an anonymous buyer paid $12,000 for a house near Dallas, Texas, for $5.2, according to Business Insider.
In May, an online seller paid $2 million for a home in Portland, Oregon, for a price tag of $3.8 million.
